The planting, terraced outdoor spaces and gardening club all feel intentional rather than decorative. This building reflects the purpose led organisations inside it. Offices that are fairly prices, cycling facilities are among the best I’ve seen and there’s a quiet space on every floor. It is a natural fit for charities and social enterprises wanting an affordable, community-minded home in Bethnal Green.”
The Green House located at 244-254 Cambridge Heath Road as an office location does works well. Cambridge Heath Overground provides direct services to Liverpool Street, Bethnal Green Underground puts the Central line within easy reach, and multiple bus routes serve the area. It’s a well-connected Shoreditch address that doesn’t shout about it. The glass frontage, heavy planting and terraced outdoor show that this is a building that has thought carefully about its environment, inside and out. Natural light floods the interior, and the result feels more like a living space than a conventional office.
The community here is the real story. Charities, social enterprises and purpose-driven organisations have built something with genuine shared identity. The team run clubs, gardening sessions, volunteering opportunities, shared events and a community notice board that actually gets used. It’s a building invested in its occupiers and the world around.
