The Department Store Brixton is a creative workspace and members’ club inside a restored 1906 Edwardian landmark on Stockwell Avenue, about 3 minutes’ walk from Brixton station. Once a department store, the building now blends collaborative workspace with a hospitality-led members’ club, a restaurant and bar, a cafe, and a rooftop terrace. It’s a creative hub rather than a standard office, built around Brixton’s design and creative community.
Members get meeting and event spaces, breakout areas, phone booths, printing, reception and mail services, kitchens, showers and changing rooms, bike storage, lockers, dog-friendly access, and 24-hour access with security. The event-ready top floor, upstairs, holds up to 250 standing or 150 seated, with the Roseberry Room seating 26 for dining or 70 for a reception. It suits creative teams and studios who want character, community, and hospitality on the doorstep.
