A former school building transformed into a workspace brings fresh energy to the creative sector, with a secure five-year tenancy offering rare stability for artists and makers. The not-for-profit model has delivered over 80,000 sq ft of space since 2009, helping creative businesses connect and collaborate across five Southwark sites. Over 175 members converge here to create and develop their practices in studios, project spaces, and dedicated desk areas.
The permanent Creative Enterprise hub at Spare Street anchors the community, whilst the latest site addition provides high-quality facilities where creativity can flourish. An on-site café offers informal meeting space where occupiers share ideas and build networks. Elephant and Castle station and London Bridge provide excellent transport links, making these workspaces accessible across the capital whilst maintaining their distinctive character and mission-driven approach.
