Tradestars opened at 415 Wick Lane as part of a mixed-use development that brought 175 homes and 2,250 sq m of commercial space to one of East Londons fastest-changing streets. The studios are on the ground floor, with high ceilings and large windows that let in a lot of natural light.
Private studios run from 100 to 1,000 sq ft plus and come on short-term, flexible contracts. Each one is an open canvas: residents design, decorate and furnish to suit their own business, whether that is a workspace, a fulfilment hub, a photo set or a mix of all three. Fibre wifi, heating and power points are included as standard.
Shared facilities include podcast studios, a photography studio, meeting rooms, phone booths, a cafe with lounge and a print and pack station. A full-time community manager runs the site and handles post and deliveries. Regular resident events mean the community actually feels like one.
