Eagle House

Eagle House is a distinctive Art Deco building on City Road, opposite Moorfields Eye Hospital, at the northern edge of the Old Street tech and creative corridor. Originally a 1920s dance hall, the historic facade was restored in 2015 as part of a 27-storey tower, and The Brew occupies the former dance-hall section, keeping the high ceilings and period character. A mural telling the building's history is a centrepiece, and a recent refresh has brought the space up to a strong standard.

The ground-floor coworking and flexible-office provision suits a range of working styles, with hot desks, dedicated desks, flexi and part-time offices, and private offices, many with their own built-in meeting rooms. Offices are fully fitted with desks, chairs and standing-desk options, and coworkers get lockers and generous circulation space. The Matcha Mochi cafe at the entrance doubles as an informal extension of the lobby, and a manned reception runs from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Community is the heart of Eagle House. Quarterly socials, lunch-and-learns, bike-repair sessions and breathing workshops sit alongside free fruit, Thursday snacks and Friday drinks from 4:30, and members describe a genuine one-big-family feel. Two shared meeting rooms, a boardroom for 15 and a room for six, are free to use and bookable through reception, with a games room of darts and a punch bag, a kitchen breakout with a TV, and phone pods for private calls.

The building is well set up for cyclists, with two ground-floor showers, lockers and storage for up to 30 bikes across Eagle House and an overflow site. A communal kitchen, filtered water stations and business support cover the day-to-day, and members can work around the clock with fob and video entry outside staffed hours. Old Street station is five minutes on foot, Angel is a comfortable walk, and a bus stop sits directly outside on City Road.
